Pov: you are in Florence and you're short on time or you are back from Wine Tour and you just want to walk around the must sees.

So, what to see in 1 hour in Florence? It's simple! Follow the itinerary we created for our tour with photographer

Piazza del Duomo:

You can't miss Florence's Piazza del Duomo, dominated by the majestic Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Giotto’s Bell Tower and the Baptistery of San Giovanni. Admire the beautiful marbles and architecture of these buildings. This is where Brunelleschi introduced mathematical rules into perspective, revolutionizing art.

Here was also held the famous competition for the realization of the golden tiles of the Baptistery, a fascinating episode of Italian artistic history.

Piazza della Repubblica:

A short walk in Via Roma will take you to Piazza della Repubblica, the heart of the city since Roman times. Admire the monumental arch with the Latin inscription celebrating the rebirth of the city. Here you will also find street performers entertaining passers-by and, if you like, you can take a ride on the famous carousel.

Piazza della Signoria:

In this immense square stands the Palazzo Vecchio, the ancient residence of Duke Cosimo I de' Medici. Stop here to admire the faithful reproduction of Michelangelo’s David and the majestic fountain of Neptune. A funny curiosity: Neptune’s face was modeled after the Duke himself.
